Happy Chinese New Year for those who celebrate it!
This year is my 2nd year celebrate CNY far from my family. I'm here in Singapore, fight with my homework when my big family in Surabaya enjoy their CNY eve dinner.
That's my choice. Honestly, I miss home but there are something that I haven't done yet here and yet, I'm already on my 4^th week.
Things that make it different from last CNY is most of my housemates go back to Indo this year and only left me and one of my roomate here in Singapore.
But nevermind just enjoy CNY and also doing homework :)

FT Island in Singapore

Today is just the beginning of my 3^rd week here and I was so excited. I attended FT Island autograph session. Actually I'm not really into FT Island but one thing that make me happy when heard about this fanmeet is chances of CN Blue concert in Singapore. Since FT Island and CN Blue are labelmate, CN Blue will probably come too :)

And here's my fancam and fanpics. For fanpics, I actually took over 100 photos but still too busy to edit them one by one so I decide to give you guys some spoiler photos. So, enjoy primadonas :)

I’m working on my typography homework now. Create variation of letter Q as much as I can.
I know the kid's tongue is a little bit scary and forced to shape letter Q haha

Last post I mentioned I work on another doodle about me and my housemates but unfortunately I still haven't done it yet due to some homework. I think this semester will be tougher and will continue by internship but honestly, I don't know why I feel lazier compared to last semester. I didn't really satisfied with my result but still..
Okay, I have to wake up, face the fact that holiday is over for real and more homework will come afterward.

Doodling Steals My 'doing-homework' Desire

What I wore today to school

I'm so addicted to doodle start from today, around 11 hours ago when I tried doodling by Adobe Photoshop. The previous doodle that I made here and here was using Adobe Illustrator. Actually I want to use SAI to doodle but sadly my SAI that my friend downloaded for me has already expired :(

I did the sketch on paper first then trace the outline on Photoshop.After that continue with coloring and put some shadow so that the doodle won't look that flat. I know for this doodle I'm not that brave to put the shadow so it looks flat. Next time with a lot of practice, I want to create the better one :)

Now I'm working on another doodle about me and my housemates. Please look forward for it :D
And what do you think that can improve my doodle? thanks guys for your suggestions, I'll really appreciate them :)

Hey bloggers I want to introduce to you guys, my family's cat. I called him my family's cat because he not live with me in my house since my parents didn't allow me to take care of pets. He lives at my dad's company with my dad's employees. All my family members love him.

Actually this cat (I'm not sure about his name) is a biracial cat with Angora's mom and Java's dad. His appearance is like Java cat but calm behavior like Angora's one. I took some photos of him as my photography practice.

I Leave My Soul in Surabaya

Today is still the 2^nd day in 2012 but I'm already in Singapore. I'm still on my holiday mood and can't get over it. I know my tummy needed some foods but my mouth seemed don't want to eat anything here. I miss Indo's food so bad. I ended just eat Milo Toast for breakfast today.

A thing that made my day was I met my high school friend, Oli.She spent her holiday here with her family but so sad, today was her last day. Fortunately, she got afternoon flight so we could meet up and had fun for a while :)
Surprisingly, She just bought me a birthday present, a cute cat bag. Thanks Oli for the present :D

Both of my roommates just arrived in Singapore today. One of them just back from her trip in Korea bought me a U-KISS's 2^nd album, Neverland. Thank you Petty, my chingu bule is so handsome as always.

I'm here, enjoying my freedom in Surabaya and just now my result for this semester is out.
and for the result?
ya that's really good for me who haven't reached 3 for my GPA. yea I get 3!
thanks God. What I've done last semester paid off :)
But still I'm a human. Human never gets enough. If you get good, you want the better. After you get the better one, you want the best.
So am I. Most of my friends get higher.
I feel like I'm not supposed to be happy and satisfied to my result.
It means I must work harder next semester. I'll do my best.

Many things make me worries, especially my future.
Can I do it well? :S

heyy bloggers! I just go back to blogging world. Good news that I've done my one semester struggle. yeayyy freedom is really mine. ya at least for a month a head before I will start another new semester. Can't wait to go home! I don't know why, I'm so excited to go back. miss home. miss family and friends. miss my own room.

But one thing jammed in my heart. I a bit disappointed with my ISP this semester. I think I can do better than that. At first, I'm really confidence with my work but after presented it in front of the lecturers, I realized lots of things I can do better but it's already too late. I just hope getting GPA that will pay off all my effort for this semester :)

I just finished my typography class and headed to City Square Mall by bus.
yaa Nadia and I attended Miss A fanmeet! That was their first ever fanmeet in Singapore.
I think we came a bit late that why some good spots on first and second floor already packed of fangirls and boys. Then we looked for a good place to wait on third floor. So here we were, wait on third floor with not really good fancam and fanpic :(

I'm back to my university life and no longer a freshman student anymore. That means I already have a junior but ya you know there's no event to make all students know each other, I only know some of my juniors.

Yes, they came to Singapore!
We went morning service so that we can go to airport to welcome them after that.

Well, I'm still a kpop fans.

Actually, my parents decided our vacation to japan but sadly it postponed due to the tsunami so they changed it to South Korea. if you are a kpop fans, you will know what i felt at that time. happy and excited! but still, i feel sorry about japan. We didn't cancel it, just postpone. By the time japan gets better, we'll be there soon :)

Hey blogger, I just come back from Korea and to fulfill my promise on my last post, I'll upload some photos that I took on my trip. Since the photos are a lot, I'll separate it into some post.okay, enjoy!

It took almost 8 hours to reach Incheon Airport from Surabaya and I got transit in Hongkong.we had few free hours there so we decided to had lunch.the first billboard that was caught by my eyes when we were at food court was Ajisen ramen!

I quite familiar to this kind of food since I live in Singapore and Ajisen Ramen became one of my favorite foods.I'm glad to make my family know what I like when they were not around me.good news, my family will visit me on August!

Okay, back to the main topic, Ajisen ramen at Hongkong Airport only a stand of big Airport food court. For the taste I think, the Singapore's one is better. Uhm maybe because I'm more familiar with the Singapore one? I'm not sure. What do you think bloggers? Do you like Ajisen ramen as much as me ? :)

Uhmm can I call it scrapbook? Because that's not truly scrapbook, I just made 8 pages of paper quilling and bind them as a book.
I made it as the Birthday project for my friend, Yunita.
each page contain different style of paper quilling and also birthday wish for the birthday girl.

hey bloggers, It has been a few days after I received my report for the second semester but I still cannot accept that easily.ya, although I know I must be grateful, be grateful and be grateful with whatever I've had but still...
ya forget it lah.
today I planed to have a girl sat-nite with my girls, Boxi.I miss having a quality time with them but they're still busy with their college things so we can't hang out anytime.
at first, be went to Happy Puppy to karaoke.We sang a lot of song from SNSD, Bigbang, Super Junior, Wonder Girls until Bruno Mars, Avril, Taylor Swift, etc. I felt my freedom by sing (or scream?) haha

Then we headed to Sutos to have dinner then coffe-ing at My Kopi-O. I didn't forget to bring my beloved new GD to capture anything that caught our attention.

Expected Too Much?

Finally my result for this semester is out. A little bit curious, but afraid to see the result of all that I've done in this four months.
I think, I've done my best. Seldom go shopping and hanging out. Seldom buy clothes and heels, not like the previous semester. Spent my precious weekend at library and did homework.
I think it will worth at the end.
I think I can reach 2.9-3.0 for my GPA.
okay, that's all that I think but sadly it's not suit the reality.
I only get a super little improvement of my GPA.
disappointed? sad? upset?
yesss of course I AM!
but I try to be grateful.
be grateful for the GPA improvement. be grateful for the score that worth me. be grateful for the support of my friends that make me stronger.thank you.

I've been 2 weeks in Surabaya, my hometown.
ya as usual, nothing to do but I've decided to make this holiday useful and not waste 'just like that'.
So I learn mandarin this holiday so that I can communicate in Mandarin especially with Chinese-Singaporean and my friends that come from China.
I don't know where the idea come from, I want to try to make a fabric scrapbook. Fortunately, I don't have to make the framework by myself because I found a brochure of a bank's packaging.
I used fabric for the main item since paper scrapbook is more common than the fabric one.
I made this for my friend, Grasya, as the birthday present.

hey bloggers, I just come home from Marina Square.
Are we, Nadia and me crazy?
we did fangirling thing in the middle of ISP week!
that's one of our way to refresh our mind from this stressful week and also it's already a long time we didn't do it since we stalked for Suju at Stadium last January.
Jang Geun Suk held his fan meeting at Marina Square and since I'm not his fans, I'm not too excited at first.

I sat down on second floor in front of the backstage door can can see him quite clear and I did my ISP project on the spot when he was signing for his fans.
on the photograph session, Nadia asked me to go downstairs to see him closer so we stand in front of the backstage door, behind another crazy fans HAHA
when Jang Geun Suk walked to and from backstage, some fans try to give him something and surprisingly, he took it!

I recorded it quite clear right? haha
I think it because I'm not his fans so I didn't turn crazy when I see him that's why I could record it clearly. It will be different story if I'm also fans of him such as when I tried to record Siwon, I'm the way to busy to scream his name so that I couldn't record him well.
ya the conclusion, although I'm not a fans of an idol, I still can be happy and enjoy since I record a good fancam :D

Once more I start my post with time flies so fast, but I really it is!It's april already.I'm on my 12th week already, it means a week left for the DEADLINE.it will be on april 8^th.but the submission for this semester is different to last semester and be confirm quite late too.Not only that, after submission week it will be continued with ISP (Integrated Studio Project) and it means I'll get another frustrating weeks until early May.

Have no boyfriend or girlfriend on valentine day isn't the end of the world.The point of valentine day isn't about having a boyfriend/girlfriend or a super romantic candle light diner.It's more about love and love not only for lover but for our family, friends and also for anyone who need our love, for example orphanage, etc.
Since I was single and still wanna celebrate valentine day, last year I sew something for my friends.You can see what it was here.It wasn't a big things but I hope they like it and knew that I love them :)

This year, I'm not in my home country anymore.I cannot sew whenever I want.not only because of the equipment and material that I left in Surabaya, but also due to the time.last year,I still could did it in class or when I had a free lesson but now, I study in nafa whose lectures give their student tons of homework.you know that my GPA wasn't that good last semester so I wanna improve it.ya the conclusion is I don't make anything for this year but surprisingly some of my classmates have prepared something.It was a bit awkward because I didn't prepared anything for them.but now I know, they are also my friends! My friends not only the one my high school friends, but also my university friends. thanks for being my friend anyway :)

Happy Chinese new year bloggers!

especially for you who celebrate it.

Have a great year ahead.

As I have told you on my previous post, I didn't come back home on this Chinese new year.

at first I think this year is the most pity chinese new year in my life because every year I always spend it with my family, especially my big family and on the eve I'll always have dinner at restaurant and watch barongsay with them.

but this year, it won't be same.I'm here, in Singapore.

ya lucky me, even most of my friends went back home, my housemates didn't.

we decided to watch movie on the new yaer eve, ya although it a bit weired for me.

I watched green hornet at the Cathay.

you must think that i'm be influenced to watch it because I attended jay chou's fan meeting.

But that's totally wrong.

my housemates who bought the tickets when I was at apartment, enjoy my temporary freedom.

cute coincidence :)

after watched movie, we sudenly got hungry.so we went to aljilani, an india's restaurant.

even a bit, I already felt home, had a new year eve dinner :)

the next day, my housemates and I have planed to cook for our breakfast (although at the end it became lunch because cook took a quite long time)

but I really enjoyed it.

thing that i used to do on chinese new year, bai-bai to my parents and grand parents by skype, and also didn't forget to ask the angpao :p

ohya, I forgot tell you that most singaporean are from chinese etnic so almost all singaporean celebrated chinese new year, like idul fitri in Indonesia, most shops and restaurants were closed, here was too.

but thanks God, some India's restaurants and fast food restaurants still opened.

ya, finally something that I can learn from this chinese new year.

Firstly, most people celebrated their chinese new year and eve with their big family but not everyone. For those who can't celebrate it with their family just like me, no need to discourage. just enjoy it guys.

secondly, even we're so far from our family (ya even I know Singapore isn't "too far".just take 2 hours by plane from Surabaya) and physically are not next to them but in their heart we are always there. omg, how I miss my family :(

If you're kpopers, either newbie or the expert one, you must know what is SS3.

SS3 stands for Super Show 3.

Super Show 3 is the third Asia tour of Super Junior.

As far as I know, this year is the first time Suju holds their concert in Singapore.

They held their concert two times in Singapore at 29 and 30 January.

since I'm still a newbie kpoper, I decided to not attend their concert.

so sorry.

But still, I'm a kpoper!

I've planed to stalk them since I heard they will come to Singapore.

so let's see my stalk experience!

Day 1

My friend and I went to Stadium at 11 AM. Stadium isn't too crowd and there was a little rain.

Around 2PM, Suju's members arrived. I can see them quite clear especially Shindong but they walked a bit too fast that I can't recognize them one by one.

An hour after that, if I'm not wrong, Siwon and Sungmin arrived.I heard that they arrived in Singapore just now.

I can see Siwon clearly!

He wore black top and sunglass also he didn't forget to wave his hand to us

For me, back to Singapore not only means back to university life and its homework, but also back to the world that I'll ever experience if I were in Surabaya.One of them is see idols in person.ya although I don't even know them, it become my own pride.

On that occasion, Jay Chou came to Bugis Junction to promote his newest movie, Green Hornet with Seth Rogen.

They came to give present for the winner of the games that was held by F&N Season.They were there for at least 15 minutes because after that they will attend their movie premiere at The Cathay.

I and my classmate, fina have been there since 3PM.The weather also wasn't stable.Sometimes hot, sometimes rain.

so umbrella is the important thing we needed at that time.

Finally they appeared at 4PM.

As usual, I red a fence and can see him quite clear except people's camera cover him -_____-

I'm so sorry for the bad quality of the photos because I stood quite far from the stage.

by the way, actually I also haven't watched that movie.so, if you're curious, check this thriller out!

I'm so sorry for the hiatus.

As you know, I'm in Singapore already and that means I have been back to my university life with its unstoppable and never ending homework.

on this post, I'll share my culinary experience.

ya, this is my first time share that topic.

Actually I have a lot of pictures of food since I was in Singapore but I'm too shy to share it due to my bad skill of photography.

At this time I'll try it and hope you like it.

today I went to Clarke Quay with my housemates, Patricia, ce Winda, ce Vania and ce Melinda.

We have planned to have dinner at Hooters.

For your information, Hooters is quite famous restaurant at Clarke Quay whose waitress wore sexy uniform.

The typical food of that restaurant is chicken wing.

You can order it at three different serving, 20 pieces, 30 pieces and 50 pieces.

50 pieces of chicken wing and curly french fries

My housemates and I ordered 50 pieces and also a curly french fries.So each of us must eat at least 10 pieces.

It was nice but 10 pieces was too many for me.

so full.

we cannot finish it all so we took away the rest of it.

I've made a decision that I won't go back home on Chinese new year.

Time seems flying so fast here.
my birthday, Chistmas then new year and now only 6 days left.

but I realize that I kept thinking about what I will leave here, I'm definitely not going forward.
When I feel down, I motivate myself that there are still many things waiting for me there like to see Super Junior, Taylor Swift, Michael Buble and Justin Bieber.
ya though I'm not a fan of them or buy their concert ticket which are so expensive, at least I and my friends will do something to see them directly, and of course I cannot do it if I stay in Surabaya.
Besides, after seeing my result that very unsatisfactory, I have the spirit to start this semester better than before.I'm not the most creative nor smartest, but I'll show to be more diligent than before.

Today after I have drawing course, a friend inform me that NAFA's result has been out!She told me that hers isn't good.how about mine?

On Monday I visited my friends at their campus, Petra Christian University.I talked a lot especially with them who majoring in visual communication design.I also met my high school friends there.

huaa envy them all.

they have quite big, complete and the important thing, cheap food at their canteen.I really wish NAFA will have canteen like that

After they have done their class, I went to Galaxy XII with Grasya and Dian to watch harry potter.

Awesome movie and also cheap!

today I went to Petra Christian University again to accompany my other friends who majoring in business management.they need to ask signature from their seniors.Before their seniors gave their signature, my friend need to sing their management song.so funny to see them like that because at my university there's no event like that.Though that event seemed tutoring junior, indirectly it will make a relation between seniors and juniors.

I found one weakness of overseas universities, it's more individual.there's no event to make seniors and juniors closer.

I also miss being in organization like I used to do when I was in high school.

I know all of you can conclude that i'm really happy here.really enjoy my life.nothing to be thought on my mind.

yaa finally now I'm too afraid,

Today is a public holiday and that means all of my family members will be at home.Not only that, my uncle, grandpa and my little cousin will come.

then we had lunch together.I really enjoy my life here.no need to think about the payment.just choose and eat what I want :p

A few days ago Oli asked me to buy a birthday present for meli.Since I haven't anything to do, I followed her.but everything seems not clear.I don't know where we'll go or we'll go with, but as long as I go with them, i'm fine.I really miss them :)

Today is really my freedom yeaa FREEDOM is MINE!

I've done my ISP and submitted it on 8^th and presented it today.

omg, I was so nervous even that was my second time presented formally in front of Singaporean

After do my presentation, I went to Somerset to have some dinner with my classmates to celebrate the birthday a few of us who celebrate it on November *including me* because the international students will be back to their own country soon.

Then went to Marina Square to play pool.

by the way, I got a souvenir from my Singaporean classmate.It's like a mini perfume.and guess where did she just go?INDONESIA.a thing from Indonesia back to Indonesian.so funny right?

today is day-1 DEADline of the submission week

I've done all today but I still want to add some complementary until the last second of the DEADline which is tomorrow, October 15^th

I just hope what I've done few weeks lately isn't in vain.

God blesses my works.amen

and the bad news, tomorrow isn't the end of my struggle in this semester.

Integrated Studio Project (ISP) is waiting for us, year 1 of Design and Media Student!

ISP is like the final project on this semester and it will be themed 10.1 and we could make anything which represent 10.1

Actually I joined this competition last year, October 10^th 2009.

First Design Award 2009, the first national design competition I've ever joined.

Whatever they said about that competition, I'm glad that I could join it.

even I only the finalist, it gave some experiences and also new friends.

Not only that, I got some refreshment of my school bustle, went to Jakarta for 3 days with my friend, Wuisan.

on September 29^th, I went to bugis junction to accompany Nadia to meet G.NA, a Korean singer.

as usual, I don't know who is G.NA until I see her directly

I arrived a little late but that I knew, she was crying and I do not know why.

After that, she sang her song and started the autograph session.

On the weekend of that week, on October 2^nd I went to Choa Chu Kang to accompany nadia to meet Hangeng,*as usual I just know him when I met him* a former member of Super Junior who continued his solo career in China, his home country.

Same as when I met CN Blue, I was waiting for few hours.

I also brought my homework and made it done there :p

Hangeng who wore black clothes

around at 4 PM, Hangeng appeared on stage and I can see him clearly *because I red a fence :p*

Believe me or not, you will get own happiness when see him/her appear on stage.You'll find all your sacrifices paid off

and also I have several tips if you want to meet k-pop band/singer :

monitor the situation from internet and follow the development

if he or she is quite famous, come to that event at least 4-5 hours before it will start

if you're his/her big fans, don't forget to bring their album

bring your camera or handy-cam to captured your idol

dress comfortably because you may sit on floor *we don't know* and also fan :p

bring enough food or at least snack to be eaten when you're waiting

bring something to make you won't bore during waiting for example book or homework *if you have lots of it :p*

uhmm, i think that's all.

Formula 1

hey, I come back with another new experience that I haven't known before

it's about FORMULA 1

as you know, Formula 1 is an international race car.

actually I also don't know much about it but it was an international event which held in Singapore,there was nothing wrong to watch it

so I went to Marina Square where I can watch it for free.I have been waiting and standing for 3 hours until the race started *I got a quite strategic place *

One think that I haven't known before that F1 cars have very loud voice and actually that was exciting to watch that race.

the racing track was captured by me from Marina Square

but unlucky,I can't watch it until the end because there are LOTS things that I MUST do due to the submission on week 13^th.

I have been 2,5 months here but I don't know why I feel I'm not going to live this forever *ya at least for seven years ahead*

I feel this is only for a while, like just for a holiday and going back into my old life when vacation was over or so at least for a short timemany times I tried to wake myself that what I live now is not a dream or for a short time.this is my new life, at least for seven years.

many times I compare it to my old life.I'm so grateful, the little things that become very huge if I do by myselfand realized that I spent time with people who I love, family and friends is very valuablealthough I have not fully aware that this is indeed the real life, I will do my best and go home will become the best gift

Today until Friday, September 17^th is holiday.my family who are coming last Saturday came back already to Indo.huaa so fast.I still miss them

nothing to do

My classmate, Fina asked me to accompany her to do shopping at bugis!

I feel so exciting!

I only buy three items with my mom because we didn't have enough time for shopping

after do shopping, we go to bugis junction to spend our time *SPEND?give me that time to the school busy time==*

so I went to bookstore to ~~read~~ saw the pictures of the books and browsed.

And suddenly my high school friend, evek appeared and said "hai poppi!"

huaa I'm so socked!

and happy.

I didn't expect that will meet her here.

I only knew that she went to Malaysia this holiday.
